Christmas Concert Prep

The Christmas concert is a whole school affair as classes
were busy making snowflakes and trees to decorate the gym.

Mrs. Heisler & Mrs. Redden
were high up on the scissor-lift hanging snowflakes.

The rest of the teachers were busy adding tape to trees
and tying snowflakes together with fishing line.

We know that Mrs. Neufeld is a star fishing woman
so she got the job of untangling the mass of fishing line.
I hope that you love the show.
I know that all the Teddy Bears worked very hard.

Teddy Bear Picnic

The Teddy Bear Picnic was a much looked forward to special day in the class.  The students spent a lot of time talking about their bears and how they were making their wagons.

Students and their teddies worked on a project page where they got to measure their teddies with linking cubes.

Some stuffies were small, green and had short fur.

Other stuffies were bigger, white and had longer fur.

Some of our stuffies were measured laying down.

Others were measured standing up.

We were all happy to work with our teddies.

All the kindergarten classes went to the library to watch A Pocket for Corduroy.

Bears worked at construction.

Bears build train tracks.

Bears played in the kitchen

Halloween

The Unsworth costume parade is one of my favourite school events.  We saw some great costumes.....we wore some great costumes.

Corn Maze

We had fun picking pumpkins in a muddy field.

Students had to pick up a lot of pumpkins to find one that they could carry.

There is an interactive story that we walked through the orchard to read.

We stopped  to take a picture of the mud, L's feet got stuck and he fell into the mud.

Poor little muddy hands.

Tall corn with a muddy path.

We did have fun exploring the barn.
