Last day
On the
last day of school we will be having a small celebration in the classroom
between 9 – 10:15. School will official
be over at 12:15. I would like your
child to stay until the end so we can enjoy our last playtime together.
We have
several fieldtrips coming up. You are
welcome to come on them all. Mrs.
Morrison and I are in the midst of planning a trip to the fire hall but at this
point I don’t have a date for you.
On the
Cheam Wetlands field trip, we spend the day at the park. We will have a BBQ with hot dogs and a
potluck. I will be putting a sign-up
sheet on the door. The hot dogs will be
provided but we will need a BBQ and someone willing to cook for us.
We will
have some caterpillars in the class soon.
I would like to borrow a 20 gallon aquarium for May and June. Our caterpillars will turn into Painted
Lady’s.
It’s
important to start putting a little sunscreen on your child every morning. As the weather can change from the forecast
always remember to have your child bring a coat. We often play outside in the morning when it
is cool and then again in the afternoon in the sun.
