Red Week

During red week we played with our red things and created some art.
Sticky art!
The students discussed the texture of the items and tried to figure out what they were.

Projects like this really encourage discussions among the children; even quiet children will chat and work with the other children at the studio table.

I think that I learnt the biggest lesson during red week - Don't plan colour weeks so early in the year.  Wait until students follow directions and understand that they will always get a turn.
Not everyone can be first.
Not everyone can be first.
Not everyone can be first.
